Anna Walz founded Medisys Health Communications in 1999 to provide strategic healthcare communications through collaboration with industry partners, physicians, teaching institutions, and medical associations.
In September 2012, Anna announced the launch of MedEvoke, a new division dedicated solely to the company’s proprietary ISIS® (Integrated Scientific Information Sharing) methodology. MedEvoke was created specifically to achieve global alignment for pharmaceutical companies that are challenged to reconcile competing strategies and objectives across organizational functions and affiliates. Client response has been tremendous, with companies from mid-size to top-5 pharma signing on, and MedEvoke is being considered for Inc. Magazine’s 500|5000 fastest growing companies.
Anna is also a member of the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) and is chair of the Learning Committee, an elite group charged with sourcing top-level professional development experiences for its members, locally and country-wide. Outside of her professional achievements, Anna is actively involved in the community. She is past-president of the local United Way chapter and currently sits on the board of Hunterdon Medical Center. She has spoken and given support to the Woman’s Health and Counseling Center and directs the charitable donations of Medisys to local groups including the YMCA, the Youth Center, and the United Way.
