COVID19 Statements from DA4S

Important Update on our DA4S 13th Annual East Coast Conference

JUNE 9-11, 2020 POSTPONED

Stevenson Ranch, California-April 10, 2020 – Diversity Alliance for Science Inc. has continued to closely monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and its impact in the United States.

As this health crisis has evolved, we have been carefully considering our options for the Annual East Coast Conference. It has become clear that hosting this event in June would not be in the best interest of our DA4S Community as there are still many unknowns about the trajectory of this pandemic, and it’s unclear when our economy and businesses will be able to get back on track. The protection of your health and safety remains a priority and we also respect the restrictions many of you are facing as a result of this economic slowdown.

Thus, we have made the decision at this time to postpone our event to Aug. 25-27, 2020 and it will remain at the Marriott Newark Liberty Airport Hotel in Newark, NJ.

We want to assure our DA4S community that we know our conferences are valued for the platform it provides to gather suppliers with the corporate buying community, the face to face connections and we are hopeful that once we are able to rebound from this we want to provide an opportunity for that to happen in 2020! This is an unprecedented time for all of us, but we will get through this together. When we emerge from this crisis, we know our DA4S network will be stronger than ever.

We will continue to update our website with all conference related information so please continue to visit our website regularly and stay connected with us through our social media channels.

The health and safety of our constituents will continue to remain our highest priority. We will continue to monitor all news and updates from Government and Regional agencies, State of New Jersey, the CDC and the World Health Organization, in the coming months.
