East Coast Conference: Everything To Know

Name Badges are required to be worn throughout the entire event including
the evening sessions.
No name badge, no entry!

Business Card is required
When you check-in to get your name badge please have your business card. Cards are also needed throughout the event as there will be ample networking opportunities so plan ahead!

NAME BADGE CHECK-IN:
Tuesday, June 9 –  10:30am – 5:00pm
Wednesday, June 10 –  8:00am – 2:30pm
Thursday, June 11 –  8:30am – 10:30am


ATTIRE: Business Casual. We strongly encourage you to bring a sweater as the meeting rooms tend to run on the cold side and we are not able to adjust the temperature.

MOBILE APP: We ask all attendees to please download the event app thru Eventdex and utilize it throughout the conference. Access the hotel floor map, attendee list, schedule of events and more! Emails are being sent to all attendees on May 28th – look for that email and follow the instructions.

WIFI: Complimentary WiFi will be available in Ballroom area only. We ask that you reserve this to one device only per attendee.

HOTEL ROOM RESERVATION: Please confirm your reservation with the hotel prior to arrival and make any requests ahead of time. Our room block is officially sold out! If you need to cancel your room, do so within the cancellation period to avoid charges. The hotel is unable to guarantee early check-ins.

INVITE ONLY SESSIONS: These sessions are for invited individuals only. Invites were sent to those individuals and RSVP’s were required. Please do not plan to attend sessions that do not apply to you.

MEMBERSHIP QUESTIONS: Our membership committee will be available throughout the conference to answer any questions. If you are interested in learning more and considering becoming a member, please visit them at the Membership Information Desk.

SILENT AUCTION: Silent auction table will be open Tuesday and will remain open throughout the event. Silent auction closes on Thursday at 10:30am. Stop by to see if any of the 1:1 Lunch Meetings with a Corporation interest you!

GRAND PRIZE RAFFLE: Tickets for the grand prize raffle will be sold throughout the event. Winning tickets are announced on Thursday right before lunch. You must be present to win. Funds raised support our Community Outreach Program. Credit card and cash accepted.

AWARDS: If you are nominated for an Award category, we ask that you please be present when the award recipients are announced!

PHOTOS & VIDEOS: We will have a photographer & videographer capturing moments of the event throughout the conference. If you do not wish to have your photo taken or be filmed, please inform them directly.

SOCIAL MEDIA: Step & Repeat will be available in the lobby during the conference. We encourage you to take photos/selfies and share them on social media. #DA4S! If you haven’t joined us on Social Media yet, do so today! We post conference information daily so you always know what is going on!

GRAND BALLROOM SESSIONS
Join us for an exciting program in the Grand Ballroom – these sessions are open to all attendees.

CONNECTION ROUNDTABLES
Open to all attendees, come start your morning off networking – business cards a must!

WORKSHOPS
We have excellent workshops scheduled that run concurrently. Refer to our website to learn more about each workshop so you come prepared on which workshops you plan to attend.

Be seated on time for the start of each workshop session.

COFFEE LOUNGE
Our Coffee Lounge is reserved for Sponsors Only! You must be a sponsor to visit our coffee lounge for beverages. Refer to Schedule for hours the lounge is open.

RX WELLNESS LOUNGE
Our Wellness Lounge is open to Members Only! You must be a member to enjoy some quiet time in this lounge. No cell phones or conversations please – this is a quiet room for you to stop by and visit for 5-10 mins for a quick unwind. Please be mindful that this lounge can only accommodate a certain amount of people at a time.

6:30pm
Our Evening Dinner & Tricky Tray is open to all attendees. Enjoy an evening with food and networking.

THURSDAY, JUNE 11

GRAND BALLROOM SESSIONS
Join us for an exciting program in the Grand Ballroom – these sessions are open to all attendees.

1:1 MATCHMAKING
If you do not get any match meetings, please don’t worry! We assure you that our event offers ample opportunities where you can meet the corporations.

1ST time attendees will quickly experience and understand what our event is all about! We specialize in NETWORKING!

If you have a match meeting, we require that you are respectful of the time and end your meeting as the bell sounds. Please do not extend your meeting time as that encroaches on the next suppliers’ meeting.

SUPPLIERS: Come prepared! Know the company you are meeting with and do your research.

CORPORATIONS: If you are participating in matchmaking, please be seated in the Junior Ballroom no later than 8:15am!

COFFEE LOUNGE
Our Coffee Lounge is reserved for Sponsors Only! You must be a sponsor to visit our coffee lounge for beverages. On Thursday the coffee lounge is open from 9:00am – 10:15am.

EXPO
Our EXPO is unique because only Corporations exhibit! This means Suppliers have the opportunity to meet with every Corporation at their booth! So don’t panic if you haven’t met the attendees from a specific company by lunch time Thursday, you will have your opportunity at the EXPO!

As a courtesy to our program, we ask that attendees are seated a couple minutes prior to the start of the daily Welcome. We have a packed schedule of events and will make every effort to start and end on time.
