Our annual Awards Program recognizes individual members, suppliers, and corporations that help advance suppliers within Life Science industries.

How to Submit a Nominee for an Award in 2025

The Nomination Period is now open. Nomination forms are available here.

The Nominator must complete Section A of the Award Form then forward the Form to the individual or company they are nominating and ask them to complete Section B. Once they form is fully completed – it must be emailed per the instructions by the deadline date of July 3, 2025. Be sure to provide your nominee enough time to successfully complete and submit their nomination.

  • Corporation of the Year: This award recognizes a corporation that has demonstrated measurable and sustained commitment to advancing DA4S Supplier Members in the life sciences and healthcare sector, and that has significantly contributed to the mission of DA4S. This includes business engagement, supplier development, mentorship, and advocacy, with clear evidence of outcomes. The Corporate of the Year sets the standard for other corporations to follow in the company’s exemplary inclusive behaviors & actions, that drive social & economic impact, as well as foster innovation, creativity, and discovery in the life sciences arena.
  • Supplier of the Year: This award honors a DA4S Supplier Member that has demonstrated exceptional performance, measurable business growth, client impact, contribution to the mission of DA4S, and community engagement within the life sciences or healthcare sector. The recipient should be an active DA4S Member that exemplifies innovation, excellence, and a strong partnership with corporate clients.
  • Catalyst of the Year: The Catalyst of the Year Award honors an individual who is not formally part of a corporate Supplier Inclusion team but has made an exceptional and lasting impact on the mission of DA4S and the advancement of small and, or inclusive businesses in the life sciences or healthcare industry. This individual has gone above and beyond to support supplier inclusion and empower suppliers through meaningful engagement, leadership, advocacy, and action. The catalyst could include but not be limited to a Business Partner, Category Manager, Supply Chain personnel, etc.
  • Supplier Inclusion Program Leader of the Year: This award is presented to a Supplier Inclusion/Engagement Leader from a life sciences corporation who demonstrates deep commitment to supplier engagement, advocates and advances awareness of small and Inclusive businesses at all levels of their organization. This individual has a tremendous focus on supplier development and is actively involved with different business organizations. As a recognized Leader, this individual has earned respect from both industry peers and the supplier community with results to prove how they have contributed to supplier development and changing mindsets within their organization.
  • Earvin “Magic” Johnson Business and Healthcare: The Magic Johnson Business & Healthcare Award is presented to an individual, corporation, or organization that has demonstrated commitment to furthering inclusion in the healthcare arena. Recipients of this award share DA4S values and commitment to equal opportunity and have demonstrated their dedication to improving representation in business, research or education.
  • Linda Secola Volunteer of the Year: This award recognizes an outstanding volunteer who is a current supplier member of our organization. Member must have consistently volunteered their services within our committees for at least one year, and whose unselfish and dedicated service to DA4S made a significant difference in the enhancement of the services and successful events provided by the organization to its members.

Nominations must be submitted to dee@diversityallianceforscience.com by 5:00PM (PT) on the stated deadline. The Awards Committee will review each individual nomination, consider and discuss the merits of each nominee, narrow the award finalists, and then vote on the final award recipient. The awards will be presented at our Annual West Coast Conference.
